After a highly competitive Senior game between these sides, both teams did well to start in this game. Pearses had the wind in the first half and build up a strong lead with Leona Houston & Sinead Greene picking up a few key scores.
Sinn Fein came out gunning in the second half and their defence was hard to break through. Sandra Malone was very strong at the back and Louise Holland got some crucial scores to see them level with Pearses at the end of Full Time.
In extra time Pearses just pulled away, but an excellent Final battle.
Pearses 3-11
Sinn Fein 3-8
